Bill Cherry - Founder
Bill founded Architectural Finishes, Inc. in 1989 and retired in 2026 after more than 40 years in the architectural products industry. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Bill built the company on a commitment to quality, service, and attention to detail.
Throughout his career, Bill was known for his meticulous approach, his dedication to his customers, and his personal investment in every project. His high standards and commitment to excellence became hallmarks of Architectural Finishes and helped establish the unmatched reputation the company enjoys today.
Since retiring, Bill enjoys traveling with his wife, Vicki, spending time with family and friends, and making the most of the outdoors. His favorite activities include boating, water sports, snow skiing, and hiking.

Hunter Pope
Hunter joined Architectural Finishes in 2019. He is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design with a Masters in Architecture. He enjoys the outdoors, sports and spending time with his wife, kids, friends and family.
Kyle Schellsmidt
Kyle brings a unique blend of scientific precision and construction expertise to Architectural Finishes. A graduate of Kennesaw State University, Kyle focuses on building strong relationships and helping projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys rooting for the Atlanta Braves, barbecuing, boating, and traveling with his wife and daughter.
Dalton Martin
Dalton joined Architectural Finishes in 2024. Formerly with a distributor he brings a unique perspective to the industry. He is a graduate from Kennesaw State and enjoys playing golf, watching the Braves and spending time with his family
Diane Flad
Diane joined Architectural Finishes in 2008. She manages the office and assists with quoting, samples, orders and project management. She is a UCLA graduate, and grew up in the Atlanta area.
Alexis Winchell
Alexis brings a blend of project management and interior design experience to Architectural Finishes. A graduate of the New York School of Interior Design, she combines creative expertise with a detail-driven approach to project coordination. Alexis is dedicated to building strong relationships within the architectural community and ensuring projects are thoughtfully executed and delivered on schedule.
